Roll Call and Sharing the Vision

Hello! My nationstate is the Land of Oasis. Oasis will do for short. I would like to welcome you to what I hope is a new day for Christians in NationStates. This thread will be used as a roll call so we know who is here and also for me to share with you the vision I have for this Biblical Assembly.

I have shared some of this with Arch and West Ukraine.

This idea came to me after reading the thread dealing with Arch's Repeal of the Freedom of Marriage Act. I noticed all the negative reaction not just to the proposal, but to the Christian view on things. After joining NationStates, I found several Christian Regions in the game. Two things became apparent from this:

1.) Christians can only truly count on each other for support and protection.

2.) There are a lot of Christian Regions in NationStates.

So a vision was born. I wanted a way for all the different Christian Regions to work together to spread the Gospel, promote the Christian View, and stand with each other against all threats. Christian Unity is the key and goal my friends. Here, in this forums we will form an alliance of Christians in NationStates. We will pray together, coordinate efforts in the World Assembly, and create an Army that can work together to defeat invasions and when warrented, take our enemy regions.

We here will begin to build the charter for the Biblical Assembly. Once we have a workable draft Arch and West will begin bringing in the Founders and Delegates of other Christian Regions: Big or Small. Together we will finalize the charter and the Biblical Assembly can begin operations. There is more, but this is the general vision. What do you all think?

I'm very excited about this new organization, and I can see that the effort you have put into it already, Oasis, shows that this isn't a passing idea. I will definitely help in any way possible to make this organization a reality.

In the meantime, we discussed on telegrams about the appointment of a Leader and Co-Leader, informal titles for now, to head up the development of this organization. Whom do you propose should hold these positions? Also, with your activity, what position do you think you should have pro tempore in the provisional government of the Biblical Assembly?

I would like to be involved. I do not want a title really. My goal is to protect the vision for this body and help strengthen it in anyway possible. I want the others to be here, with accounts so that the discussions can begin.

Part of my vision for the structure of the Biblical Assembly is to have different committees focusing on different areas. These committees will work together to support the whole organization.

We first need to create a vision statement to state our goal for the Biblical Assembly.
Next we need to set up the rules and structure of the Executive Council. The Executive Council is the governing body and supreme authority (after God) of the Biblical Assembly. It is to be managed by an executive group of nations. Make sense?

I see. So, the Executive Council was act as a sort of legislature/governing body, over the entire organization.

A fine idea. You mentioned on a telegram that you had a few regions in your dossier that you would suggest for potential membership.

In the meantime, I think I forgot to alert Hank and UotW about the new forum. I'll tell them now.
